SsangYong EV Technology

The Korando e-Motion is an entry-level SsangYong electric model with a battery capacity of 61.5 kW. It is delivered with a front-mounted electric motor powering the front wheels. The manufacturer's suggested range is up to 290 km, which is a decent number. The Korando e-Motion supports AC and DC charging with 6.6 kW and 74 kW rates. The KGM Torres EVX is offered in two trim levels (K30 and K40) but with the same technology. Since it is a bigger SUV, it has a lithium iron phosphate battery with a 73.4 kWh capacity. The range is up to 370 km, and although it looks rugged, this model is equipped only with front-wheel-drive. Due to a more extensive and modern battery pack, the KGM Torres EVX can be charged through AC and DC methods with faster charging rates of 11 kW and 120 kW, respectively.
