The Honda e is a compact city car with a very nice design, practical features, and a spacious interior, representing the perfect urban cruiser with decent range and performance. For the 2024 model year, the Honda e is discontinued, but you can still see them on the streets. The e:NY1 is a compact SUV with more room and an extended range sold in two versions – Elegance or Advance models. The Honda e-battery technology was designed to emphasize range and usability. This compact car used a small 35.5 kWh lithium-ion battery pack with 400 v architectures. It supported the AC and DC charging methods with 6.6 kW and 46 kW charging rates. Designed as an urban vehicle, its range was up to 170 km. However, the e:NY1 compact SUV uses the bigger 68.8 kWh battery pack with more power (201 hp) and significantly more extended range. The battery powers the front wheels (a dual motor version is not available) and has an 11 kW charging rate on AC and 78 kW on DC charging.
